Timber Notes:

The property occupies a limestone ridge with numerous benches with good working conditions. Good timber is found on both sides of the tract. The majority of the tract could be worked with a track cutter. Some of the lower slopes may require a cable skidder.

The timber has a large component of stave quality White Oak. A sawtimber harvest is suitable at any point in the next ten years. The Sugar Maple in the understory is growing rapidly, and will respond well if and when a thinning is conducted. In addition, there are significant amounts of mast producing Hickory and Oak throughout the stand providing quality game habitat.
